The Mediapro Studio - Cimarrón - Latin American Expansion - Management team

The Mediapro Studio gives up one of its most successful Latin American production companies, Cimarron, the leadership of the company's operations throughout LATAM, always under the global direction of the Catalan group.

Cimarron will coordinate all offices and production teams in the continent to boost your growth and strengthen the operational structure in Latin America. The announcement coincides with the start of operations of the production company in Brazil, where the company will soon have its own office and equipment.

Marta Ezpeleta, general director of The Mediapro Studio, explains this change of strategy in the company: "Cimarrón is one of our most strategic assets in Latin America. To provide the necessary muscle to this new stage, Andres Jelos joins as creative producer, while Catalina Porto assumes the position of creative producer of Cimarrón in Colombia and Mexico. Argentine producer, creator, screenwriter and writer, jealous He had already collaborated with Cimarrón and The Mediapro Studio as a scriptwriter on the series created by Daniel Burman Iosi, the repentant spy (Prime Video), The curses (Netflix) y The rest good, soon to be released on Flow. The company will also promote the creation of formats and content of non-fiction in Latin America under the leadership of Amparo Castellano, global director of nonfiction at The Mediapro Studio. Castellano incorporates the supervision of this area in Cimarrón as part of his international responsibilities. Cimarrón (The Mediapro Studio): eight years of milestones

Cimarron was born in 2018 from the union of producers Santiago Lopez, Diego Robino and Hernan Musaluppi, and quickly established itself as one of the most relevant producers of Latin America, with films and series of international reach for platforms such as Prime Video, HBO Max y Netflix. Since 2023 it has been part of The Mediapro Studio, a stage in which its growth has accelerated and expanded its presence, adding a headquarters in Colombia to those of Argentina, Uruguay and Mexico, and participating in numerous original productions and services for large studios.

Among his upcoming releases highlights the world premiere in the Filmmakers' Fortnight of the upcoming Cannes Film Festival of the co-production The double freedom, by Lisandro Alonso; The rest good, a series created by Daniel Burman that will arrive on Flow soon after its presentation at the Berlinale Series Market, and Nothing between the two, the new film by Juan Taratuto with Gael García Bernal and Natalia Oreiro, which will premiere on May 21 in theaters in Argentina, Mexico and Uruguay before its arrival on HBO Max Latin America.
