Sennheiser acquires Merging Technologies, which will be integrated in Neumann
融合技术, a specialist in high-resolution digital audio recording systems, will see its assets integrated into Neumann following the acquisition of its shares by 森海塞尔。
Neumann continues to consolidate its position as a key provider of professional solutions by strategically expanding its product range. This time, as Ralf Oehl, CEO of Neumann, details, with the integration of the 融合技术 product range: “We plan to strengthen Neumann’s offering, particularly in the area of digital workstreams, in order to provide our customers with holistic audio solutions in studio quality. Merging Technologies’ products and solutions are an excellent complement to the Neumann product portfolio. We are therefore very much looking forward to working together with the Merging team.” “We are very pleased to welcome Merging’s employees as part of the Sennheiser Group,” added Andreas Sennheiser, co-CEO of the Sennheiser Group。
With the acquisition, Merging Technologies will become part of the Sennheiser Group through the strategic partnership. Its team of around 20 people will remain based in Puidoux, Switzerland, but will work closely with the Neumann team in Berlin. Merging is a leading provider of AD/DA solutions and digital audio workstations. In addition, the firm is a pioneer in the development of software compatible with the AES67 standard, which, as 克洛德·塞利尔, founder and CEO of 融合技术, underlines, creates a “perfect match”: “Both companies share a passion for excellence and a commitment to always set new standards in audio.” The first joint product of the partnership between Neumann.Berlin and Merging Technologies will be a Neumann audio interface that enables the integration of Neumann products into a digital infrastructure.
Both parties have agreed not to disclose the financial details of the transaction。
