EBU will be present in the Virtual Reality Observatory (OVR17)

The ORV17 (Málaga, Spain 19 and 20th July) aims to offer an overview of the current and future state of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality, Video Games, eSports, as well as the offer of glasses, cameras and game consoles, training, platforms, contents and their application in other sectors (tourism, industry, advertising…).

The European Broadcasting Union (EBU-UER) will be present in the Virtual Reality Observatory (OVR17) to be held on 19 and 20 July at the Polo de Contenidos Digitales in Málaga.

Madiana Asseraf, Senior Media Development Manager at EBU, based in Geneva, Switzerland, has confirmed her participation in the event organized by Medina Media at Polo de Contenidos Digitales in the capital of the Costa del Sol.

The ORV17 aims to offer an overview of the current and future state of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality, Video Games, eSports, as well as the offer of glasses, cameras and game consoles, training, platforms, contents and their application in other sectors (tourism, industry, advertising…).

During two days, Spanish and multinational companies will have the opportunity to present their news, in an event in which are scheduled networking meetings, conferences and demos.

Among the attractions of the event, there is a showroom with devices of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality so that they can be used by the attendees.

The ORV17 was presented in the NAB Show, which took place between 21 and 26 April in Las Vegas, as it was in the latest MipTV of Cannes, according to the purpose of Medina Media and the Polo de Contenidos Digitales to make Málaga the capital of digital events in Southern Europe.

Over the next weeks, more details of the agenda of the Observatory of Virtual Reality will be revealed and the registration period will be opened; however, in some sessions, visitor-capacity will be limited.
