Matrox Video debuts Maevex 7100 encoders: single-channel solution with 4K capabilities

The Видео Матрокс Maevex series of encoders, designed for low-latency, high-quality, low-bitrate encoding, grows with the Maevex 7100, a single-channel 4K60 AVC/HEVC solution.

The Маевекс 7100 series encoders provide high-quality streaming and recording for both motion video and desktop content with a wide range of compression rates in low-bandwidth applications requiring high compression levels. These new professional encoders, while suitable for all types of environments, have been spatially designed for use in control rooms, command centers and other mission-critical environments.

The new Matrox Maevex 7100s come in the H.264 model (Maevex 7112A) and the H.264/H.265 model (Maevex 7112H). Regardless of their H.265 compatibility, both solutions offer simultaneous streaming and recording support for five streaming protocols: RTSP, MPEG2-TS, RTP, SRT and RTMP. They are also compatible with the Maevex PowerStream Плюс application and the new Командный центр Мейвекс.

Maevex 7100 Series encoders are fanless, small footprint, low power consumption devices, ready for high-density rack-mount or floor installation. They offer zero-latency input pass-through for real-time video output, enabling flexible, simultaneous, and uninterrupted operation for operator desks, video walls or remote rooms. The system comes with its corresponding SDK and API, which will allow users to add this system to different mission-critical environments or third-party audiovisual systems.

Security in the new Maevex 7100 from Matrox Video

Видео Матрокс has chosen to ensure the compatibility of the Maevex 7100 encoders with mission-critical environments by integrating enterprise-grade security. In addition to its support for Microsoft Active Directory, users can securely manage the devices with support for 802.1x network authentication and the execution of IP control communication via the HTTPS protocol. Similarly, the Maevex 7100 family supports Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) protocol with AES encryption, enabling secure, low-latency, high-performance transmission over noisy or unpredictable networks.
