Tarif Sayed becomes new president and GM of NDI (Vizrt Group)

ЯВЛЯЕТСЯ will continue to make strides towards consolidating the broadcast and AV standard under the leadership of Tarif Sayed, an executive with extensive Silicon Valley experience.

The ЯВЛЯЕТСЯ new president and GM is described by Визрт as a “recognised thought leader in the media technology space” who has served as a senior leader at companies such as Долби Лаборатории и Nokia Technologies; more recently, he has focused on helping technology start-ups.

Sayed will report directly to Michael Hallén, генеральный директор Vizrt Group, and will join Vizrt Group’s global management team. He will take over the leadership of NDI from Michael Namatinia, who has been at the helm of the NDI business since 2019 and who, after 20 years of service to Vizrt Group, will be taking an extended leave of absence for personal reasons.

Sayed, excited about this new stage in his career, describes NDI as one of those “amazing technologies that only comes around once in a generation.” He notes that the “potential of this technology is boundless,” so “I cannot wait to work with the team as we take the NDI mission to the next level”.

The NDI leadership team has also been strengthened recently with the hiring of David Radoczy as the new vice president of business development. Radoczy, a broadcast and technology veteran, joins NDI fresh from global media and technology company, Deluxe, and previously with major broadcasters and service providers such as Sky UK, Star HK and Nine Network Australia.
