PowerScale will be used to preserve all content recorded during the Tokyo Olympics so that it can be shared with Олимпийские игры NBC U.S. viewers. The system incorporates Dell EMC OneFS software, which unifies storage clusters “into a single intelligent file system.”

All data from Tokyo 2020, which runs from July 23 to Aug. 8, will be stored at two NBC Olympics production locations: one in Japan and one, remotely, in the United States.
