TMC coverage of Qatar football world cup to be provided by TVU Networks solutions
TVU Networks mobile production technology will enable Total Media Cast (TMC) to produce Fan Zones feeds for each of the 31 countries competing in Qatar 2022 football world cup.
UTV will provide TMC with a fully redundant IP streaming solution in the nuvem ready to deliver multiple feeds to media outlets around the world using TVU Grid, an open platform for live and archived video content with rights from trusted media organisations around the world. TVU Grid live streams can be purchased for direct live broadcast or can be trimmed in real time. The raw video does not include graphics or commentary, so broadcasters can add their own commentary and lower thirds.
Beyond this service, TMC will offer a wide selection of services for the Qatar football competition, including live studios, reporters, SNG and IP streaming, engineering team support and broadcast-ready news packages.
Issam Ayyard, founder and CEO of TMC, is confident that the partnership with TVU Networks will have a “great impact”. Paul Shen, CEO de TVU Networks, is also confident of the success of this deployment: “This partnership with TMC will allow us to expand our global reach in an unprecedented way. We’re proud to help bring the excitement of the biggest sporting event in the world to a global audience. Being chosen by TMC for such an innovative project, helping media outlets bring simultaneously the fan zone experience from 31 countries to their viewers, with an easy cloud-based solution, where any live feed can be taken to digital or traditional SDI format in a click is a true testament to the innovation of this partnership.”
