Tedial anuncia smartWork, uma nova plataforma de integração de mídia a ser apresentada no NAB 2022
smartWorks, a platform that integrates the Tedial core modules as well as being able to work with third-party MAMs, will be showcased at NAB 2022.
Tedial is looking to transform and redefine the efficiency of the media business with the introduction of trabalho inteligente, a media integration platform that will be on stand #C3036 at NAB 2022. The company has designed smartWork with a set of tools that simplify all types of processes, resulting in “unprecedented flexibility, seamless and effortless integrations, reduced costs, improved team collaboration, enhanced profitability, accelerated growth and shorter turnaround times”.
trabalho inteligente democratises business processes, allowing users to define integrations autonomously and create workflows in a flexible and agile way. Aligned with Movielabs‘ Vision 2030 for media creation, the platform eliminates complex configurations through a common user interface that aims to provide an optimal user experience and easy access to all external applications and systems (including any legacy MAMs).
Julian Fernández-Campon, CTO of Tedial, explains that “smartWork is the result of more than 20 years of experience designing and implementing workflows and integrations for the M&E industry. Its no-code architecture will revolutionize productivity for non-technical users, and because it follows Infrastructure as a Code (IaaC) it can be deployed on-premises, on any cloud or in a hybrid architecture for incredible flexibility. We are delighted to be heading back to NAB 2022 with this important launch, which will transform the way media companies and content owners manage their media, speeding up the digital transformation.”
Unified, cross-functional interface
The smartWork approach is based on a common interface and data model so that applications and systems are integrated within the platform rather than the platform being integrated into the applications. This major change simplifies workflow design, as workflows do not need to know the specific APIs and data models for each component, making it easier to exchange integrations within an existing workflow. In addition, by providing a common workspace, the solution allows applications to address the media and not the media delivered to the applications. This adds a layer of media abstraction so that workflows are not dependent on physical locations (on-premise/cloud), providing an additional layer of security.
Tedial has designed smartWork natively with microsserviços e kubernetes to provide adaptability and scalability of both media operations and resources. Its easy-to-use, codeless editor enhances flexibility and minimises operational risk with built-in complexity abstraction and visual tools. Its drag-and-drop functionality allows anyone, even those with no coding experience or technical expertise, to easily assemble and modify workflows, including external third-party system integrations, without the intervention of vendors or specialists.
Finally, smartWork integrates Tedial’s core modules, such as the company’s Augmented Storage Management (AST) and the new BPM. However, while it can integrate with Tedial’s MAM EVO, it can also integrate with other MAM solutions to ensure business continuity and bring new functionality to these third-party systems. In addition, it provides a selection of pre-built processes and building blocks that address the most common media workflows (ingest, delivery, exchange, AI enrichment, playout, localisation, live, migration) and novo trends (UHD/HDR content and packages such as IMF, among others).
