JVC releases three new 4K and HD PTZs with NDI and SRT
KY-PZ400NW/NB PTZ, JVC 4K camera with SRT and NDI, is now available. The HD models KY-PZ200NW/NB and KY-PZ200W/B will arrive in November.
JVC has announced the immediate availability of the 4K PTZ model KY-PZ400NW/NB, aimed at areas such as sporting events, concerts and, in general, all types of live broadcasts. The model, part of the Connected Cam family, will be joined in November by two other HD PTZs: KY-PZ200NW/NB e KY-PZ200W/B.
By integrating the Grupo Vizrt NDI|HX streaming technology, the KY-PZ400NW/NB e KYPZ200NW/NB cameras can offer high-quality, low-latency IP video streaming. The PTZ cameras work with H.265/H.264/MJPEG encoding and feature VITC (Vertical Interval Timecode) for synchronizing multi-camera configurations. Each model is available with a black or white camera body to suit the conditions of each installation.
In addition, all PTZs incorporate SRT, HTTP, RTSP, e RTMP/RTMPS, among other protocols. Streaming capabilities associated with SRT technology range from automatic repeat requests (ARQ) to Forward Error Correction (FEC), which prevents packet loss typically found in other systems. It also includes signal encryption to provide full content protection.
Integration with JVC solutions
The new NDI PTZs can be associated with the JVC BR-DE900 ProHD decoder, a system compatible with HEVC/H.265 and H.264/AVC compression standards. Similarly, the PTZs can be controlled by the RM-LP100 remote control panel, connected to the KM-IP6000/4000 mobile production system and integrated into virtual studio environments such as vMix, OBS Studio e NewTek solutions.
Equipped with a 1/2.5″ 4K CMOS sensor with progressive scan, the KY-PZ400N also features a wide angle of view (equivalent to 26.4 mm in 35 mm), a minimum illumination of 0.5 lux and a 16X digital zoom. The KY-PZ200N and KY-PZ200 use a 1/2.8″ HD CMOS sensor with progressive scan, a 20X optical zoom that reaches 606.9 mm (35 mm equivalency). All three cameras feature HDMI and 3G-SDI connectivity, RJ45 with PoE, RS232 and RS485.
