Dante AV ecosystem moves forward with Dante Studio 2.6 and Dante AV-H 1.5
Enabling multi-channel video with up to four video Rx channels, Dante Studio v2.6 and Dante AV-H v1.5 add even more versatility and possibilities to IP-based audio-visual environments built around Dante AV by オーディネイト。
Dante Studio v2.6 is notable for allowing operators to manage up to four Dante AV-H video streams, whether these are used in contexts such as video conferencing, streaming or pure broadcast environments. Specifically, this latest enhancement provides a ‘virtual camera’ or video source that allows Dante AV video channels to be brought into applications such as Zoom, Teams, OBS or vMix. Additionally, Dante Video Viewer, a standalone app included with Dante Studio, will provide greater control and monitoring capability for up to four channels, allowing users to adjust video resolution between 720p, 1080p and 4K, tailoring video quality to meet specific project needs.
On the other hand, for those equipment manufacturers creating products for professional AV applications, ダンテAV-H technology offers a fast time-to-market for H.264/AVC and H.265/HEVC SoC-based video products. This latest version with 4 video Rx channels allows Dante AV-H to be integrated into new product categories such as multi-channel decoders, video switchers, vision mixers and multiviewers. The firmware update is available for all new and existing Dante AV-H devices.
Will Waters, principal product manager at オーディネイト, highlights the latest developments around ダンテAV: “We’re taking significant strides to simplify and enhance video workflows across a broad spectrum of industries. By enabling multichannel video integration directly into applications on PCs and offering OEMs a seamless way to incorporate multi-angle video into their solutions, we’re delivering tools that empower operators to create richer, more dynamic AV experiences. Whether in corporate, educational, or live-event settings, these updates open new possibilities for effective communication, collaboration, and creative production.”
