Panasonic introduces new range of 4K PTZ cameras, remote operation panel and more
Five new CNS 4K PTZ cameras, the AK-HRP1010GJ remote operation panel and the AV-UHS5M6G NDI unit join the パナソニック product portfolio.
Connected Solutions Company (CNS), a パナソニック company, has developed five new PTZ models: AW-UE80W/K, AW-UE50W/K, AW-UE40W/K, AW-UE20W/K そして HD AW-HE20W/K, which will be launched progressively from the first quarter of 2022. These solutions feature a direct drive system based on Panasonic’s proprietary technology for smooth vertical and horizontal steering; a direct link system with remote camera controller and face tracking and human body detection software; and support for both は そして SRT。
While the PTZ models vary slightly from one another, there are several commonalities, including 4K resolution (except for the AW-HE20), up to 24x zoom (12x in 20 modes), stabilization, small size, RTMP / RTMPS support, ability to integrate into AR/VR environments thanks to フリーD (AW-UE80W/K model), and outputs such as SDI, HDMI, USB or Ethernet. Similarly, the new Panasonic PTZs are compatible with a wide range of accessories, such as the AW-SF100/AW-SF200 tracking software or the AW-RM50AG controller.
Remote Operations Panel (ROP) AK-HRP1010GJ
In parallel, Panasonic has announced the November 2021 release of the AK-HRP1010GJ Remote Operation Panel (ROP) for Panasonic studio camera systems. With a ¼ rack size, the AK-HRP1010GJ has been designed with operability and versatility in mind. The layout of the operation buttons on the panel (gain, color temperature…) are customizable, simplifying operation by prioritizing frequently used functions. Adding to this ease of use is a new 3.5-inch high-resolution color LCD touch panel with quick access to numerous functions.
The Panasonic solution also supports serial connection, IP connection for control and PoE power. In addition to studio camera connectivity (it can currently manage up to 99 cameras), support for IP connection of Panasonic PTZ cameras, memory card recorders and cinema cameras is also planned.
AV-UHS5M6G, NDI interface
A few months later, in March 2022, Panasonic will continue to support は compatibility of its equipment with the AV-UHS5M6G interface for the AV-UHS500 Live Switcher, which was launched in February 2020. With the NDI I/F unit, the AV-UHS500 becomes capable of transmitting high-quality, low-latency は そして NDI|HX video. The unit attaches to the rear of the AV-UHS500 body, enabling the construction of IP transmission systems with a single LAN cable, reducing setup time.
The new AV-UHS5M6G also enables remote camera control operations with those Panasonic cameras that support NDI, thus enabling new workflows.
