Lawo punta tutto sull'IP per IBC 2023
IP will again be key for IBC 2023 (September 15-18), as evidenced by the Il loro strong commitment to this technology.
Il loro will exhibit on its stand a wide selection of its IP video, audio, control and monitoring solutions for the broadcast industry. One of the highlights will be its Applicazioni domestiche, a set of four applications based on a flexible microservice architecture. Specifically, Home Multiviewer, Home UDX Converter, Home Stream Transcoder and Home Graphic Inserter, compatible with SMPTE ST2110, SRT, JPEG XS and NDI, have been created to help users adapt to increasingly mixed technological environments, always at the pace of adoption of each technology. All of them, Lawo notes, can run on standard on-premises servers, in remote data centers or in the public cloud.
Looking ahead to IBC 2023, Lawo will also present an evolution in processing power for the .edge SDI/IP ad alta densità conversion and routing platform. Through licensable options such as proxy generation and JPEG XS compression, Lawo seeks to address bandwidth constraints, streamlining IP pipelines and optimizing workflows. The solution also provides JPEG XS encoding and decoding for high-density compression in remote workflows and for other applications with a tight bandwidth offering.
Live and Radio productions
IL Il loro dedication to powering live productions will be renewed at IBC 2023 with software release V10.8 for the mc²/A__UHD Core/Nucleo di alimentazione platform. With features such as flexible bus routing, expanded AUX count (up to 256 buses), QSC Q-Sys proxy integration in HOME, remote show control via OSC, and more, the Lawo platform looks to set a new benchmark for live performance capabilities. In addition, NMOS support for the mc² Gateserver strengthens device compatibility, offering “seamless” integration into the Lawo ecosystem.
Finally, Lawo has prepared new features for Nucleo di potenza ahead of IBC 2023. With its integration as a proxy in HOME 1.8, support for MADI front ports, and dynamic DANTE and/or MADI SRC card recognition, the latest Power Core update “ensures” a seamless audio experience. In addition, combined with the V8 radio and Gateway V2.1 versions, Power Core supports extended audio I/O functions through audio I/O extenders, GPI/O integration, and enhanced gateway configurations.
