Sennheiser acquires Merging Technologies, which will be integrated in Neumann

Neumann continues to consolidate its position as a key provider of professional solutions by strategically expanding its product range. This time, as Ralf Oehl, CEO of Neumann, details, with the integration of the Tecnologie di fusione product range: “We plan to strengthen Neumann’s offering, particularly in the area of digital workstreams, in order to provide our customers with holistic audio solutions in studio quality. Merging Technologies’ products and solutions are an excellent complement to the Neumann product portfolio. With the acquisition, Merging Technologies will become part of the Sennheiser Group through the strategic partnership. Its team of around 20 people will remain based in Puidoux, Switzerland, but will work closely con il Neumann team in Berlin. Merging is a leading provider of AD/DA soluzioni e digital audio workstations. In addition, the firm is a pioneer in the development of software compatible with the AES67 standard, which, as Claude Cellier, founder and CEO of Tecnologie di fusione, underlines, creates a “perfect match”: “Both companies share a passion for excellence and a commitment to always set new standards in audio.” The first joint product of the partnership between Neumann.Berlin and Merging Technologies will be a Neumann audio interface that enables the integration of Neumann products into a digital infrastructure.
Both parties have agreed not to disclose the financial details of the transaction.
