Intinor: When versatility and flexibility converge
Intinor is one of the manufacturers of so-called “backpacks” for live transmissions via LTE 3G / 4G, fiber or satellite or Ka band, and encoders for 4K and VR, the difference is marked by the possibilities offered.
It is not uncommon for us to attend presentations or seminars in which equipment manufacturers tell us about “flexibility” and “versatility” without leaving us with a clear idea of what it really means for us in our day-to-day business. Far beyond the definitions of words themselves, it is not intuitive to imagine the multiple situations in which these definitions are applicable in our case.
Intinor is one of those manufacturers in which those words take on a special meaning. Apart from being one of the manufacturers of so-called “backpacks” for live transmissions via LTE 3G / 4G, fiber or satellite or Ka band, and encoders for 4K and VR, the difference is marked by the possibilities offered. From having
intercom channels to enabling mixtures of up to four cameras; through the possibility of remotely embedding graphics and logos at the origin.
Direkt Router
Perhaps the most eye-catching product in its catalog is the Direkt Router for receiving / sending RTP, RTP + FEC, RTMP push-pull or TCP push-pull signals.
Apart from performing de-bonding, allowing the reception of 18 or 36 simultaneous streams, depending on the 1RU or 2RU unit, it allows the unlimited transmission of RTMP streams to multiple destinations and can convert to protocols RTP, RTMP or .TCP. You can also record the event on a USB stick or on an optional internal disk, to automatically make an FTP send at the end of the event.
In addition, it can transcode to multiple resolutions and bit rates by providing 2×2, 3×3, 4×4 multiviewer HDMI output for remote viewing and selection of up to 4 cameras and mixing effects as well as remotely inserted logos / graphics selection.
Optionally up to 8 HD-SDI outputs can be up to four pairs of stereo channels in the mobile unit and up to eight pairs of stereo in the rack mounting unit.
For Gaming applications, Intinor encoders are capable of working at 1080p / 59.94 at 3.5 Mbps, which is the standard for uploading content, among others, to the Twitch platform, one of the largest in the world.
At the ZDF VR conference in April this year they introduced the new 4K encoder in H264 showing 360VR via LTE modems with bonding to upload content to the YouTube platform. Being able to integrate with the camera OZO of Nokia, as with other systems of 360VR offering excellent quality even at 8 Mbps. They incorporate the possibility to make cropping and even insertion of logos when uploading content live to YouTube.
Finally, through the API, you can program the automation of different processes in any Intinor device.
Intinor has selected Tmediat as partner in Spain to market their solution portfolio.
