Matrox Video présente Luma, une nouvelle gamme de cartes graphiques
Le nouveau Matrox Video Luma graphics card series, which integrates the Intel Arc GPU and targets high-reliability applications, is now available.
The Luma family consists of three single-slot cards: the Luma A310, a low-profile fanless card; the Luma A310F, a low-profile fan-based card; and the Luma A380, a full-size fan-based card. Matrox Video has developed the Luma family to meet the significant market demand for mainstream graphics to drive multiple displays, balancing size, reliability, and performance for a variety of applications.
Le Luma A310 is touted as the “only modern low-profile fanless card”. The fanless design offers quiet operation and eliminates one point of failure (the fan), increasing reliability and extending the life of the card. On the other hand, the single-slot, low-profile Luma A310F targets applications that require extra performance to handle video and 3D rendering. Another application is the retail sector, where multi-monitor graphics are used, such as digital signage and digital menus. Finally, the full-size, single-slot Luma A380 offers even more performance and more GDDR6 (6GB versus 4GB) than the other Luma models. For example, these cards can power medium to large video display walls that display multiple video sources.
All three LUMA boards have four outputs and can drive four 5K60 monitors. (All three can also drive up to eight 5K60 or 5K/120 monitors, but are limited to two outputs). ) They support all the latest graphics features, including DirectX 12 Ultimate, OpenGL 4.6, Vulkan 1.3 and OpenCL 3.0, as well as Intel’s oneAPI for compute tasks and the Intel Distribution of OpenVINO toolkit for artificial intelligence development. The cards also feature class-leading codec engines that can encode and decode H.264, H.265, VP9 and AV1. The cards also include Matrox PowerDesk desktop management software for configuring and managing multi-display setups.
Daniel Collin, senior product manager, Matrox Video, appreciates the launch of Luma: “The market has consistently looked to Matrox for high reliability, high stability, multi-head graphics cards with a long life-cycle. With the LUMA family, we are pleased to continue satisfying these requirements in critical environments. Indeed, the alignment with Intel has resulted in a palette of additional features that extend the value we can uniquely bring to our customers as their future needs unfold.”
