IBC 2022 prepares its return to the Amsterdam RAI with 85% of the stands already sold
Registration is now open for the IBC 2022 broadcast and media show, which is set to make a triumphant return with the support of the industry.
From 9 to 12 September, GRV will return to an in-person environment that promotes collaboration, learning, networking and business development in the media, entertainment and technology industry. In this way, hybrid and remote bets are confirmed as a stopgap rather than a forward-looking solution for such events.
GRV, owned by industry organisations IABM, IEEE, IET, Royal Television Society, SCTE and SMPTE, has already booked 850 exhibitors in its 12 halls. The event will feature a dedicated Du contenu partout zone in the newly built and expanded Hall 5, where the latest industry innovators will showcase emerging technologies for multiplatform delivery, over-the-top (OTT) streaming and content monetisation, including a full programme of presentations and panel sessions in the CE Theatre.
IBC2022 will also feature the new Showcase Theatre dans Hall 12, where leading technology providers and thought leaders will present projects included in the Media Innovation Accelerator programme, as well as free masterclasses, panel discussions and demonstrations. In addition, a two-day paid conference will be held during the show, packed with keynotes, panel discussions and technical breakout sessions.
Other key features of IBC 2022 will include free workshops and panels; the IBC Partnership Pavilion; the IBC Innovation and Social Impact Awards; and the Accelerator Media Innovation programme.
