EVS renouvelle sa direction avec Alex Redfern en tant que CTO et Xavier Orri en tant que EVP des opérations et des projets
Alex Redfern et Xavier Orri assumeront de nouveaux rôles au sein d’EVS : respectivement CTO et EVP des opérations et des projets.
Ces promotions interviennent alors que l’entreprise entame sa prochaine étape de croissance et se prépare à réaliser des projets clés jusqu’en 2022, y compris certains des plus grands événements du calendrier sportif international.
À titre de dirigeant principal de la technologie (CTO), Champignon dirigera le Programme de R&D EVSSuperviser le développement et la livraison de solutions novatrices aux clients ;, while ensuring that technology investments are aligned with the company’s business objectives. As a new member of the leadership team, he will also play a key role in evangelising the EVS technology vision and strategy on a global scale.
Having worked for EVS for more than 15 years, Alex brings significant customer, product and business knowledge to this role. A British national, he joined the company as a technical support engineer. He later took on the role of VP Pre-Sales, working closely with EVS customers in key territories and supporting them in the production of major events. In 2020, his hands-on experience enabled him to successfully lead the EVS global team of consulting services solution architects, focused on developing key workflow-based, customer-focused solutions.
In addition, as Executive Vice President of Operations and Projects, Spaniard Xavier Orri will oversee the implementation and deployment of EVS solutions worldwide. EVS believes that his presence on the management team will be “critical” to improving the visibility of EVS’ customer-facing operations, ensuring that the company’s customer intimacy approach is embedded in all decisions. Prior to joining EVS as SVP of Operations and Projects in 2020, Xavier worked at a number of broadcast-related technology companies, including satellite communications company ST Engineering iDirect (formerly Newtec), where he held positions of increasing responsibility in project management and customer solutions development.
