Teradek‘s Bolt family gets bigger with the Bolt 4K Monitor Module TX, which enables remote camera control.

Le Bolt 4K Monitor Module TX integrates into any PetitHD Smart 7 monitor, unifies the power supply, mounting point and cabling. Its distinguishing feature is its integrated camera control, which makes it possible to control ARRI cameras up to 228 meters away as standard.

This feature is expected to reach the ROUGE Komodo et DSMC2 by the end of the summer.

Functionality for SmallHD users

Wireless camera control doesn’t just stay with the Bolt 4K Monitor Module TX, but also comes to users of PetitHD camera control software. Those interested in taking advantage of the new wireless functionality will be able to do so “at no additional cost” via an upcoming firmware update, provided they use their monitors with a Bolt 4K Monitor Module TX/RX set.
