Telestream and NPAW integrate their solutions to offer deeper video monitoring
Telestream’s IQ and NPAW’s Youbora will be offered together to optimize video processing and distribution monitoring processes on the network.
This combined solution, aimed at broadcasters, content aggregators, direct-to-consumer and video service providers, enables operations, business and support teams to analyze potential errors throughout the video chain. Through this partnership, video service providers will be able to locate users directly affected by the problem, minimizing downtime and minimizing the impact on customers and revenue.
Telestream’s iVMS correlates program information, aggregates alerts and enables rapid diagnosis from video header ingest to the CDN edge. In parallel, you can pull analytics data from the client through Youbora to see how that channel’s audience was affected by events at the headend or network level. In turn, Youbora can extract iVMS data to overlay alarms and video network data with graphical trends along with client QoE and behavioral analytics. In this way, you can pinpoint the root cause of customer activity when an event occurs that affects QoE.
Advanced integration
Ferrán G. Vilaró, CEO and co-founder of NPAW (Nice People At Work), stresses that this alliance will provide “real time actionable insights along with the health of the entire delivery chain each and every minute”. “The ability to combine and overlay data from Telestream’s Video Management System with NPAW’s Youbora client analytics provides unprecedented visibility into the root cause of audience and revenue-impacting events,” he notes.
Similarly, Calvin Harrison, general manager of IQ Business at Télédiffusion, believes that “the Telestream Video Management System enables dramatic operational efficiency by gathering monitoring data from points across the network, and translating that information into visibility, insight and actionable intelligence. Having the ability to correlate with the actual audience data enables a new level of operational and revenue efficiency for video service providers.”
