The Catalan broadcaster 3Cat acquires the Artimo robotic camera system from Ross Video

Within the framework of NAB 2025, Ross Video announces that the Catalan broadcaster 3Cat has become the first audiovisual company in the world to acquire its state-of-the-art robotic camera system Artimo (acronym for “art” and “motion”, “movement” in English).

Paulí Subirà, head of Image at 3Cat, highlights that "we are betting on something that, for the moment, will only exist in our country. The first robots that have been manufactured in the world will be on our set. It is cutting-edge and new technology to be able to explain differently and better the content that we normally do."

The acquisition of Artimo is part of the project of new news model that 3Cat will launch starting next fall. Initially, 3Cat has acquired cinco robots of the Canadian brand.

This innovative system of robotic cameras, which allows high-quality images to be captured, is designed to be able to move around any production set, offering a Great versatility of camera angles and movements and providing more artistic and creative production solutions. By integrating five Artimo robots, 3Cat will significantly improve its broadcast quality, offering audiences more visually attractive and technically sophisticated content.
