Eduardo Campoy shoots 'Solos', his 100th film

Secuoya Studios, Alamo Audiovisual Productions and A Contracorriente Films they produce 'Solos', a feature film directed by Guillermo Ríos whose filming has begun in the Canary Islands and which is Eduardo Campoy's 100th film.

Alone is defined as a Comedy-drama which explores complicity, solidarity, affection and discoveries in friendship relationships. Based on the novel of the same name by Paloma Bravo and directed by Guillermo Ríos (Only once), is the 100th film by the renowned producer Eduardo Campoy, CEO of Álamo Producciones and head of the Film area of Secuoya Studios.

Kira Miró (How much do I have left), Carlos Santos (Everyone does it), Salva Reina (Who you're traveling with) and Elia Galera (Fox), make up the cast of this adaptation with a screenplay by Manuel Gancedo (Super Agent Makey, Giant). The film will be shot entirely in Canary Islands over the next few weeks.

The producer and director Eduardo Campoy He has an extensive and outstanding career in film and television. Throughout his career, he has been recognized at multiple national and international festivals and has accumulated an impressive total of 92 Goya Award nominations, achieving 20 awards. Likewise, in 2023 he was distinguished with the Gold Medal of the Forqué Awards. "Each project, each story, has been a unique opportunity to explore the power of cinema and connect with audiences. This is the synopsis of Alone: "Four friends meet for a pleasant dinner with the sole purpose of enjoying their lives, accompanied by a glass of wine and away from personal problems. However, dissatisfaction begins to arrive as the night progresses and disturbing themes arise, such as fear, the couple, friendship, sex, work, complicity or death. A story in which everything is spoken of in lower case: with humor, tenderness and a lot of empathy. Thus, between pain and laughter, the four protagonists of Alone they try to face their fears and disappointments, regain hope and, above all, learn to laugh at themselves".
