Brainstorm to debut new 6.1 suite at IBC 2024
Brainstorm’s latest version of Infinity Set, Aston and eStudio, Suite 6.1, will land at IBC 2024 (September 13 – 16) with a full simulation depicting the challenges of live election coverage.
During IBC 2024, Brainstorm will show all attendees the features and possibilities of Suite 6.1, the latest version of InfinitySet, Aston and eStudio. Through an election coverage, the Spanish company will combine the “most advanced” virtual production with InfinitySet using Unreal Engine 5.4, which will allow to showcase unique features in the industry such as multiple scenes, actor teleportation and AR graphics. Brainstorm has confirmed that this showcase will also include a transparent touch screen, which allows 3D graphics to be displayed in context and provides additional control of the show by the hosts.
Brainstorm’s main election demo, using XD motion robotics, will highlight InfinitySet’s new Dual-GPU capabilities, which facilitates the creation of the entire demo with a single workstation, encompassing both virtual production with set extension and color correction, as well as camera cues, AR elements and interactive graphics. According to the company itself, this functionality is “tremendously useful” for production environments limited in space or personnel. Other features to highlight include extra-rendering and set extension with 3D LUTs for real-time color matching, in-context AR graphics, immersive actor teleportation, or interactive scene changes, among others. Aston will also demonstrate its ability to create data-driven, context-based AR graphics, which can be displayed in virtual environments and interact with the scene and actors.
Finally, Brainstorm has advanced that it will show during IBC 2024 all the novelties of the Edison ecosystem for the corporate and educational sector. This showcase will feature three solutions: EdisonGO, a capture environment that provides video and tracking information from an iPad; Edison OnDemand, which facilitates the reproduction of a representation in an immersive environment from a web browser, and Edison OnCloud, an Edison in the cloud available online via subscription.
Ricardo Montesa, CEO and founder of Brainstorm, appreciates the company’s imminent presence at the show that will take place at the Amsterdam RAI in a few weeks: “We are delighted to exhibit at IBC and demonstrate the incredible possibilities that our range of products offers any content creator to produce the best possible virtual content. Now that virtual production is becoming more and more common in television and film, Brainstorm can help its users with its extensive experience in virtual studios, real-time 3D graphics and immersive presentations.”
