Blackmagic URSA Broadcast G2

The new version of Blackmagic Camera 8.5.1 for the URSA Broadcast G2 camera Blackmagic Design adds support for Blackmagic Cloud workflows and allows you to upload clips from the new camera media pool to Blackmagic Cloud and even upload them directly to DaVinci Resolve projects.

The new function for simultaneous proxy recording With Blackmagic RAW o ProRes It means that it is possible to get the sequences to the newsroom or the editing room in seconds, speeding up workflow.

Additionally, this update reduces SDI output latency. This means that when using the camera's SDI output to follow the action or to feed displays such as giant screens at live events, there is minimal delay between what is happening live and on screen.

Blackmagic Camera 8.5.1 also adds support for the Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) transmission protocol for much lower latency transmission and more secure encrypted transmissions.

Blackmagic URSA Broadcast G2This update also has improvements for Blackmagic URSA Studio Viewfinder y Blackmagic URSA Studio Viewfinder G2 tally light changing the ISO recording color from orange to yellow and allowing you to suppress the preview or ISO tally in the URSA Broadcast G2 camera menu.

Additionally, this update adds the ability to update and manage the camera over Ethernet, support for REST APIs for remote camera control, support for secure login and password, support for network time protocol, support for web media manager, support for file transfer protocol, selective tuning tally color and support for SMB file sharing.

This final version includes fixes for issues identified during beta testing, including General Blackmagic Cloud improvements, a better pixel recalibration, and more reliable data tethering with some Google Pixel phones, as well as better H.265 and H.264 AV sync at 50, 59.94 and 60p on SDI output.
