Notre Dame Studios will manage the ingestion of its video channels with Cinegy
Cinegy has supplied a Cinegy Capture system to Notre Dame Studios, technology and multimedia production branch of the Notre Dame university community that will have a platform to ingest several video channels from sporting events or studio productions.
Notre Dame Studios I needed one software content recording application capable of satisfying a wide variety of studio production workflows. One of its fundamental requirements was to have a graphical user interface browser-based that will securely control the ingest multiple recording channels and at the same time allowed the editing of content by users for the production of live and studio sports. Cinegy Capture PRO adapted to all these requirements.
The Cinegy platform supports content up to 8K and includes additional features and functions for the Simultaneous transcoding and recording of various formats in various storage locations. Each server Capture PRO scales to support multiple channels, meeting the recording needs of production, providing multiple High quality recordings and proxy, feeds monitoring and live transport flows, enhancing the production environment.
Like all of Cinegy's powerful software tools, Capture PRO is fully implemented in software, runs on hardware COTS and can be accessed from anywhere, to view, edit and deliver media. At Notre Dame Studios, Cinegy Capture PRO was installed on of servers, it was tested and integrated into the production environment in less than four hours.
