Telemadrid and Beijing Television sign a collaboration agreement
Radio Television Madrid and Beijing Radio and Television have formalized a collaboration agreement for the purposes of disseminating the values and principles of both cultures and their tourism potential through the exchange of content and any other actions agreed for this purpose.
This agreement has been carried out within the framework of the commemorative events of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Spain and China that are being carried out this year, as well as the 38th anniversary of the signing of the Twinning Agreement between Madrid and Beijing, Madrid having been the first city in what was then Western Europe to twin with a Chinese city.
To close the agreement, the Information Office of the Municipal Government of Beijing, supported by the Chinese embassy in Spain, held a ceremony this Thursday to commemorate 50 years of diplomatic relations and present the documentary miniseries. Beijing central axis, which Telemadrid's LaOtra will broadcast on December 18, 19 and 20 at 6:30 p.m.
The event, which was held in the Naves del Matadero in Madrid, was attended by Cristina Menéndez Álvarez, general director of Cooperation with the State and the European Union of the Government of the Community of Madrid; He Yong, Minister Counselor of Cultural Affairs of the Chinese embassy in Madrid; Wei Xiaoyu, vice president of Beijing RTV, along with the rest of the representatives of the Beijing television delegation; and Ana Civera Tejuca, Corporate General Director of Radio Television Madrid
