Movistar Plus+, first Spanish operator to include SkyShowtime in its offer

With the signing of an alliance between Movistar Plus+ con SkyShowtime, Telefónica consolidates its strategy as an integrating platform in which global and national operators are already present.

Starting in early 2024, the SkyShowtime platform, with its exclusive selection of international and Spanish-language series, and film premieres from Paramount and Universal, will be included in the package Fiction miMovistar.

Access to the set of SkyShowtime content will be done in an integrated manner, as part of the main navigation of the platform and available on demand. In addition, a new SkyShowtime linear channel will be launched highlighting its news, movies and series.

With this agreement, SkyShowtime will gain new subscribers on Telefónica's platform, significantly expanding its reach and impact.

Customers of the miMovistar Fiction package will be able to access an attractive entertainment offer that includes a large number of successful films and original series from SkyShowtime, including content from the iconic brands of Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon, DreamWorks Animation, Paramount+, Showtime , Sky Studios and Peacock, as well as their original series.
