RTVE confirms the second season of '4 stars', whose filming has already begun
The daily fiction ‘4 stars’, co-produced by RTVE y Good Mood, continues to maintain the public's trust after six months on the air and 100 episodes broadcast, which is why the Corporation has decided to give the green light to the filming of its second season.
Daily fiction co-produced by RTVE y Good Mood, executive produced by Daniel Écija, is already known by almost 30 million people, with an average audience that exceeds one million viewers and an 8.5% share. In October, it closed the month with 1,124,000 and 8.8%. It is the second option in its range and achieves more than a point advantage over the following offers.
4 stars has been growing and consolidating in the access prime time Monday to Thursday. Since its premiere, La 1's data has improved by 1.8 points in its broadcast slot. It has incorporated audiences of all ages, from all socioeconomic strata and habitats, and has grown in almost all geographic areas, in some of them more than five quota points. In fact, as RTVE points out, the series has managed to open its profile towards young people (with episodes that have exceeded 16%) and integrate two groups that have great weight in consumption: adults between 45 and 64 years old ( with more than 12%) and older women.
This trend also transfers to the online platform. RTVE Play, where, since its launch, 4 stars accumulates more than 19.2 million views, which places it as the second most viewed content in this period in volume of reproductions, after The promise. The series has consolidated a loyal audience of more than 121,700 weekly viewers on average and maintains a stable trend on RTVE Play, gaining viewers in recent weeks.
