The Ventana CineMad Co-production Forum opens professional accreditations
The Ventana CineMad International Co-production Forum will take place on November 2 and 3 at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid with the aim of promoting the internationalization of the Madrid audiovisual fabric and the promotion of the local and regional industry by promoting filming and of quality audiovisual production.

Ventana CineMad is an International Co-production Laboratory and Forum organized by the Madrid Audiovisual Association (AMA), with the collaboration of the Community of Madrid and the Madrid City Council, with the support of PIAF, EGEDA. It is a project funded by the ICAA (Institute of Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts) and the European Union Next Generation EU. The Embassy of Canada, Invest Canada, Telefilm Canada, Hub Brussels, Screen Brussels and Institut français de España participate.
Among its new features, Ventana CineMad has strengthened relations with Canada and Belgium through strategic agreements with Telefilm Canada, the Canadian Embassy in Spain, Hub Brussels and Screen Brussels.
Also worth highlighting is the renewal of the agreement with the international laboratory TorinoFilmLab. Specifically, one of the projects presented in this ninth edition will be selected to participate in TorinoFilmLab Next.
Likewise, Ventana CineMad has closed a agreement with Iberseries, for which 8 of the projects from past editions have been selected and recently presented at the Madrid project pitch, organized by Madrid Film Office. The projects that have participated have been Mr. Nobody, Climbing From Freedom, The three lives of Carlos Slepoy, Zebra with polka dots, A son, Ulysses, the dog, Moon-eyed Muna y Rebeladas.
On the other hand, the international guests of this edition, of whom more information will be announced soon, will come from companies in the audiovisual sector from countries such as Canada, Belgium, Germany, France, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, among others.
16 selected projects
Among the 94 registered, based on their quality and artistic value, international potential, financial viability and relationship with the Madrid region, a committee of experts has selected 16 projects. Of them, eight are fiction feature films, three are TV series, four are documentaries and one is animated. In addition, nine projects are directed by eleven women. All of them are eligible for seven financial prizes worth 63,000 euros.
He expert committee Those who made the selection were made up of professionals: Luisa Romero, producer of Frida Films; Millán Vázquez-Ortiz, general director of Freak Independent Film Agency; Guadalupe Arensburg, director of the short films department at Movistar Plus+; Beatriz Gómez Molinero, script analyst, story editor and project development expert; Martín Cuesta, responsible for the film programming of the Conde Duque Contemporary Culture Center; María Prada, head of film promotion at Madrid Film Office.
