Vitec streamlines workflows helping broadcast professionals do more with less

Designed for easy integration and robust streaming, the MGW Diamond+ OG openGear card is suitable for a wide range of applications. point-to-point contribution streaming over IP inside production studios, broadcast facilities or corporate server rooms.

ChannelLink expands Vitec's video distribution offering by enabling reliable, low-latency delivery of IPTV content to remote employees or distant facilities. In line with Vitec's green initiative, ChannelLink now ensures optimal use of incoming transmission link bandwidth: the new feature SmartLink Ensures that IP power supplies are requested only when needed, reducing overall network traffic and power consumption.

In addition, Vitec carried out demonstrations of the platforms EZ TV, Avedia IPTV y Digital Signage, which allow users to broadcast live and on-demand content, create and manage digital signage, and distribute television and proprietary content through existing networks.

EZ TV improvements

The version 8.2 of the EZ TV platform includes a wide range of enhancements across multiple modules, including: real-time endpoint snapshots, providing operators with instant visual feedback from the HDMI output for EP5 and EP5+; Adding SRT, HEVC and multi-view video playback to the HTML5 EZ TV Player Lite browser player.
