Buendía Estudios reinforces its Content area with Tomás Silberman

Buendía Studios adds Tomás Silberman to its Fiction team as director of Content Development. He will report directly to Laura Abril, executive director of Fiction and Global Business Development.

From this position, he will be responsible for the search and development of fiction projects, establishing alliances with consolidated and emerging talent in the audiovisual scene, and supporting the executive producers of Buendía Estudios in the creation of new content.

Silberman has accumulated extensive experience as an executive in creative development and production since 2008, when he began working at Comedy Central, being in charge of searching for new stand-up comedy talent and coordinating monologue scripts, in addition to acting as screenwriter on several entertainment programs. In 2019 he became responsible for content development for Spain at VIS (ViacomCBS International Studios, currently known as PTIS, Paramount Television International Studios), responsible for supervising the writing and creative aspects of the production of series such as Better Days, The Gypsy Bride, The Purple Net, the second season of Stories to keep you from sleeping, The invisible ones y Passing lies. Since 2023 he is also an associate professor at the Carlos III University of Madrid.

Throughout 2023, Buendía Estudios has produced The Turkish passion, Beguinas, Marbella, Camilo Superstar, The sandbox, Ángela y Drag Race España All Stars, and very soon, the new installment of Physics or Chemistry. This same year their productions have been released Poor devil, The nights of Tefía, The Kabul Unit, Little faith y let yourself be seen. The studio recently announced the development of Sira, the continuation of the phenomenon The time between seams based on the work of María Dueñas.
