IBC 2023 (Amsterdam, September 15 and 18) has a significant number of new exhibitors such as the Swedish BST Devices, which will present its camera robotics solutions to the broadcast industry.

Among the products exhibited by BST Devices highlights the turning and tilting head camACE, which achieves a resolution and repeatability of 0.8 arc seconds with zero slack, enabling precise live movements. Its radical design, with direct drive servos, a single moving part per axis and great damping, translates into “practically silent” operation and “very high” reliability that allows it to be used in highly demanding environments such as news studios. .

The camACE remote head can be paired with the lifting column Altitude and the floor or ceiling rail system silentTrack, allowing designers to use robotic cameras with great freedom of movement. The system also supports payloads of up to 45 kg, allowing the use of complete studio cameras (with pointers).

Camera movement is controlled from paneles modulares which provide intuitive access for programming and live operation. Security is inherent to the control system, which guarantees the protection of the equipment, operators and the surrounding environment, meeting all widely recognized safety standards for studio robotics.
