Quality, host broadcaster of the Central American and Caribbean Games

El Salvador and the Dominican Republic were the venues for the last Central American and Caribbean Games, which included Quality como host broadcaster.

From June 23 to July 8, 2023, a team of more than 300 professionals of Quality has been responsible for producing more than 1000 hours of 37 sports and 53 sports disciplines. This extensive coverage has formed a daily programming grid with eight channels, in which the opening and closing ceremonies have also taken place.

Quality has once again opted for a remote production model, with four implementation controls located in the IBC of San Salvador, two controls in the HUB of Buenos Aires and two controls in the main HUB of Madrid. In total, 90 camera units have been arranged, among which the “premiere” of the models stood out. Grass Valley LDX 86 y 98 supplied by ES Broadcast, as well as other equipment Panasonic; 140 units Dejero EnGo, and a wide selection of ingest, continuity, SRT distribution, recording, editing and backup systems.

Quality's deployment for these Central American and Caribbean Games was completed with more than 50 dedicated connectivity lines, accumulating a total dedicated throughput for remote production of 40 Gbps. All this, resulting in more than 1,000 GB of mobile connectivity.
