Raúl Berdonés and Pablo Jimeno launch a takeover bid to control 80% of Grupo Secuoya
The founders of Secuoya, Raúl Berdonés and Pablo Jimeno, executive president and general director, respectively of Sequoia Group, announce a takeover bid to acquire the majority of the content company's capital.
Specifically, the founders of the group announce a public acquisition offer for 55% of the capital currently in the hands of Alantra, which added to the current 25%, represents the 80% of the shareholders, with a premium over the current share price value of 55.9% and a company value of 127.5 million euros. In this way, Secuoya confirms itself as the only independent international content group with Spanish shareholders, with the clear objective of consolidating itself as a global studio.
Coinciding with this transformation of the shareholding structure, the company will soon announce the group's business strategy for the coming years, with a firm purpose: to lead the world of Spanish-speaking content production in the world.
This renovation aims to integrate the best creative talent and the most prominent producers in the Spanish-speaking market.
