Panasonic's Kairos demonstrates its readiness to face even more demanding productions at NAB 2023
Panasonic is showcasing the latest enhancements to the Kairos live production platform at NAB 2023, as well as the new AW-UR100 PTZ and the AV-HSW10 mixer.
The latest developments from Panasonic for Kairos, which can be discovered in NAB 2023, aim to expand the capacity of the platform so that it can face productions more complex by streamlining workflows. Panasonic Connect has worked closely with a significant number of players in the broadcast sector to continue taking its flagship development to new levels.
In the cloud world, Panasonic has joined forces with LiveX, cloud-based production specialist, to develop Global Live Control Room. This solution combines the capabilities of Kairos of Panasonic y Virtual Video Control Room (VVCR) de LiveX to deliver a hybrid turnkey solution that allows productions to direct all cloud applications to VVCR and all on-premises equipment to Kairos. Panasonic also presents the new solution for touch control surfaces within the framework of NAB 2023 AT-SFTC10 for Kairos. The system allows several remote or local TCP instances to be used simultaneously to control it. Kairos Core, so producers can easily add a Kairos control surface anywhere they can place a touchscreen PC. It will be available for the KC200 in June 2023, and later in the year for the KC100, KC1000 and KC2000.

The AW-UR100 arrives with capabilities 4K/60FPS; and dynamic image stabilization system (DISS) prepared to work in large venues; a robust design that would allow live broadcasting during “blizzards, typhoons and other weather phenomena”, and compatibility with numerous protocols and interfaces. The AV-HSW10 mixer, meanwhile, is a compact solution with 10-bit processing and IP compatibility.
