Telecinco Cinema, Mono Pictures and Sony Pictures they produce 'I Hate Summer', the new comedy by Fer García-Ruiz ('Derailed') whose screenplay is signed by David Marqués ('Campeones').

In the plot, three families, from different backgrounds and social classes, book, without being aware of the mistake, the same house to spend their holidays, turning the summer into a comical exercise in tolerance. None of them are willing to give it up, and there are not many alternatives either, so they are forced to share a cabin all summer. The obvious differences between each of its members turn those days into a chaotic accumulation of funny and wild situations. Despite this, they have to learn to live together

This is the starting point of I hate summer, whose production he is in charge of Ghislain Barrois and Álvaro Augustin (by Telecinco Cinema) and Miguel Menéndez de Zubillaga (Mono Pictures AIE).

Filming, which has just started over seven weeks in different locations in Tenerife and Madrid, stars Julián López, Kira Miró, Jordi Sánchez, María Botto, Roberto Álamo, Malena Alterio and Mariano Venancio. The cast is completed by Yohana Yara, the young Javier Lera and Aitziber Errazkin and the child actors Scarlett Arce, Lucas Ruíz and Diego Ruiz.

The film will be distributed in Spain by Sony Pictures Entertainment Iberia.
