Pilar Rubio signs for Telemadrid as host of the contest 'El mejor' produced by Mega TV

Pilar Rubio from Madrid will look for the best comedian in the Community of Madrid in the program The best, a format produced by MegaTV for Telemadrid which will be co-directed by Melisa Moya and Jordi Rosell.

Throughout eight programs, comedians, joke tellers, stand-up comedians...will compete among themselves to show who of all is the best. A jury made up of Esther Arroyo, Josema Yuste and Pablo Chiapella will determine which of them deserves the award.

Rubio has assured that “after having worked in general networks and platforms, I have always felt Telemadrid close and, finally, the opportunity has arisen. It is synonymous with closeness to the people of Madrid. I am in love with my Community, I always carry it in my heart and on my tattooed skin. Telemadrid has been with me since I was little. In fact, I was a big fan of the gastronomy section of Madrid Direct. I wanted to discover a new restaurant in Madrid every day, it seemed like the ideal job.”

Jordi Rosell highlights that The best “It is a program to give visibility to comedians in the Community of Madrid. A space to enjoy humor, a clandestine club where the best meet to share jokes and fun. The program is a window to this space where you can have a good time with all of them. A white format with the mission of entertaining and having fun.”
