Imagine Dragons will open CES with a concert in Dolby Atmos format
The Dolby Live venue at Park MGM will host a concert by the successful band Imagine Dragons powered by technology on Thursday, January 5 at 9 pm PT. Dolby Atmos.
Known for their hits “Bones”, “Believer”, “Demons”, “Radioactive” or “Thunder”, Imagine Dragons is one of the greatest exponents of rock of stadiums currently. Close to pop and drinkers of the chantable legacy of Coldplay, the band accumulates sales of 66 million albums y 110 billion streams, which accounts for its alcance global.
The concert on January 5 will be the first live performance by Imagine Dragon in Dolby Atmos, a show that for now is only reserved for specialized venues such as Dolby Live in Park MGM. Concert attendees will be able to benefit from a unique blend and of a surround speaker system with a monitor constellation arranged throughout the entire premises.
The concert will benefit the Tyler Robinson Foundation (TRF), Imagine Dragons' non-profit organization dedicated to supporting families facing a pediatric cancer diagnosis, and more than 35 local charities serving underserved communities in the Las Vegas area. Dan Reynols, leader of the band, has acknowledged feeling “very happy” to partner with Dolby to offer this concert in Dolby Atmos to benefit TRF and other local charities: “It is going to be an incredible night with our fans and TRF.”
