TV3 brings the great 'Eufòria' concert to the cinema in Dolby Atmos and Vision
The Dolby Cinema room at the La Maquinista cinemas (Barcelona) will host the first screening in formats on December 22. Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision of the concert euphoria, which will be issued by TV3 on January 6 at 10:05 p.m.
The first of the two concerts of the musical competition euphoria of TV3, filmed on July 16 at the Palau Sant Jordi and attended by 17.000 personas, allowed listening live during two hours many of the themes that were already seen at the galas. The concert was recorded in 4K HDR con two mobile units, a exclusive realization from the concert screens, 17 cameras and more of 100 audio channels (to post-produce in Dolby Atmos). It is the second time that TV3 produces an event with this technology, after the experience of the recital of Lluís Llach Also in the Palau Sant Jordi.
The objective of the CCMA is to continue deepening the production and distribution of signals in the standard UHD-HDR within the environment HbbTV (red smart TV button). Likewise, the corporation seeks to progressively increase its content offering in Dolby Atmos y Dolby Vision with an eye toward improving the technical and artistic quality of its products. To support this goal, the Catalan entity is part of the association UHD Spain.
The event will be attended by some of the protagonists of the concert and the technical teams; Ricardo Viñas, Dolby spokesperson; Jordi Fabregas, co-artistic director and director of the concert euphoria, y Llorenç Gómez, sound engineer at TV3 and responsible for the design and recording of the concert's sound.
