Ovide exhibits its new Koko 4K HDR monitor-recorder at MicroSalón
For the first time at MicroSalón, an event that AEC organized in Madrid this weekend, Ovid demonstrates the potential of Koko, its new 4K HDR monitor-recorder with video assist functions specifically designed for digital cinema shootings.
Koko, which allows you to work with cameras such as ARRI, Sony, Red and Canon, has been developed entirely in Ovide's R&D department, like the rest of its systems.
This solution is fruit of the agreement with Convergent Design (creators of the Apollo and Odyssey monitors) through which Ovide will create monitor-recorders based on its experience as a manufacturer.
Koko presents the “all in one” philosophy and is equipped with a 10” HDR DCI-P3 touch screen, recording on SSD disks, 6 12G-SDI inputs/outputs, USB-C connection, audio input/output y Ethernet connection.
Furthermore, in this case no additional software is needed to perform the video assistance functions and it adds utilities such as automatic metadata capture, clip database, histogram, waveform, focus assist, zebra, false color...
Ovide Koko, designed to be used as a single stand-alone video assistance system or to integrate directly with Ovide and QTAKE systems, allows recording four cameras on removable SSD disks and is powered by a V (IDX), Gold (Anton Bauer) or B (Bebob) mount camera battery.
