La 1 begins filming 'La Promesa', a daily series set in 1913

RTVE y Studiocanal, In collaboration with Bamboo Productions, are responsible for The promise, a daily fiction for La 1 whose filming has already begun.

He filming from this fiction began early September and will be developed in El Rincón Palace, a spectacular building from the end of the 19th century located in Aldea del Fresno, near Madrid, as well as in two sets with an area of ​​3,000 m2, in which a recreation of the The Promise Palace and the time in which the fiction is set.

The series, an original idea of Joseph Cister Rubio, search innovate the format of the newspapers with a premium narrative proposal in its visual and technical aspects, unprecedented in this type of fiction: great presence of exteriors, quality aesthetic treatment, art and costume equipment with its own workshop... To the address, four proper names: Miguel Conde, Javier Pulido, Eva Bermúdez and Alberto Pernet. All of them will be surrounded by the photography of Gustavo Gala y Oscar Barrio, the art direction of Marcelo Pacheco and the assembly of Jani Madrileño.

Ana Garcés, Arturo Sancho, Eva Martín, Joaquín Climent, María Castro, Antonio Velázquez, Andrea del Río, Manuel Regueiro, Carmen Flores, Alicia Bercán and Paula Losada are the main names of a very choral cast starring “strong women”, which will also reflect the class struggle at the end of the Restoration, “an almost unknown, but fundamental era in the history of Spain.”

“1913. The entire world is on the brink of the abyss, but there are havens of peace isolated from conflict. Like the La Promesa Palace, in the Los Pedroches valley, property of the Marquises of Luján, one of the largest landowners in the country.”

“That day the Palace dresses up to celebrate the wedding of the heir, Tomás. Just after the party, the appearance of an airplane attracts everyone's attention. It is piloted by Manuel (Arturo Sancho), son of the Marquises. Suddenly, the device loses altitude until it crashes. Manuel is about to be consumed by flames; but someone manages to save him: Jana (Ana Garcés).”

“The Marquis offers her a financial reward, but she only wants a job at the Palace and has a clear motive: to bring justice to her mother, murdered fifteen years ago, and to investigate the whereabouts of her brother, kidnapped when he was a newborn.
