Alea Media shoots 'The Silence' for Netflix, a thriller created by Aitor Gabilondo
The silence, the new series created by Aitor Gabilondo and starring Aron Piper, has just begun filming with production by That Media for Netflix.
Alea Media (a production company owned by Mediaset and author of titles such as Vivir sin Permiso, Patria, Madres. Amor y vida, Besos al aire and Entrevías) produces this thriller for Netflix starring Aron Piper (The mess you leave, Elite), Almudena Amor (The good boss, Stories to keep you awake), Cristina Kovani (The Hunt), Manu Ríos (Elite, Age of Wrath), Aitor Luna (The heirs of the land, Valeria), Ramiro Blas (The Boarding School: The Summits), Aria Bedmar (The heirs of the earth, Tell me who I am) and Mikel Losada (Ane, García and García), among others.
Gabilondo, creator and producer of the series, highlights that “The silence is a psychological thriller about the monsters that silences and unspoken words engender. The investigation into the personality of an inexplicably violent young man, the reckless approach of a psychologist to the mind of a young man tired of being observed from the outside.
In this thriller, Sergio Ciscar is released 6 years after having murdered his parents, when he was still a minor. During that time, Sergio has not said a single word nor has he collaborated with justice, so both the motivations for the crime and his current intentions are a mystery. Ana Dussuel, a young psychiatrist, and his team will be in charge of determining his potential danger to society by secretly observing him day and night, like an animal.
