Hula Post subscribes to Avid Media Composer Enterprise option
The Avid Media Composer Enterprise subscription model becomes part of the core of California-based post production company Hula Post.
The commitment to Avid’s Media Composer Enterprise model will enable Hula Post to enable its hundreds of remote and on-site video editors in Hollywood to work with the latest Media Composer editing software and take advantage of a wide selection of Avid’s cross-functional product features.
Hula Post, majority female-owned post-production companies serving production companies, studios and broadcasters, specializes in defining and delivering state-of-the-art workflow solutions across its three facilities and client properties. Among them is its Hula Post Everywhere remote editing service, developed to keep clients working during the pandemic. Hula has built it around a comprehensive technology portfolio that includes Avid creative tools and a secure data center with Avid Nexis storage to support high-end projects.
Denine James-Nio, CEO of Hula Post, stresses that the Media Composer subscription “is a perfect tool,” as with it they can “manage our total editing resources, be more responsive and at the same time let our clients take advantage of Avid’s latest creative tool updates and releases.” At the same time, Tom Cordiner, Avid’s Chief Revenue Officer, is pleased that “close partners to Avid like Hula Post” are taking the lead in moving to subscription models.
