John Hurley to become Chief Revenue Officer at Quantum
Quantum Corporation has decided to strengthen its management team with the appointment of John Hurley as Chief Revenue Officer.
Hurley brings more than 25 years of experience in top-tier enterprise account sales teams. Quantum expects his addition to help the company drive both its global expansion and evolution. The firm has recently transitioned from a hardware appliance vendor to a subscription-based as-a-Service software provider of end-to-end video and data management and analytics solutions.
Prior to Quantum, Hurley led several customer areas at Cisco. His last senior position with the company was vice president of the global business segment. Hurley also spent several years overseeing Cisco’s service provider business, which generated billions of dollars in sales through a strong network of sales partnerships and direct sales. Separately, Hurley led transformational business relationships with Cisco’s largest enterprise customers in aerospace and automotive.
Leadership Positions
Other highlights of Hurley’s career include his position as area vice president of Dell Technologies, where he led regional sales managers and their teams to support multiple Fortune 100 customers. He also held leadership roles in transformational software companies, helping to drive acquisitions at Microsoft and HP.
Jamie Lerner, CEO of Quantum, comments that “The appointment of John Hurley demonstrates the scope of our ambition as a company.” “His experience working with the largest global enterprise, commercial, and service provider customers will prove invaluable as we accelerate our growth trajectory,” he said.
Hurley says he is “excited” to join Quantum to “help accelerate the growth of the company as it evolves into a best-in-class software and as-a-service company.”
