Atomos creates the position of Chief Product Officer for Estelle McGechie

Estelle McGechie, formerly Apple's product manager for the professional video applications category, is the new Chief Product Officer of Atomos.

As Chief Product Officer, Estelle will be responsible for all products of Atomos, always from the approach of “the evolution of software and services”. Estelle will support the founder of Atomos, Jeromy Young, in the execution of the next releases.

Young celebrates the signing and tells how the professional relationship between the two began: “Estelle and I joined forces for the launch of the original Atomos Ninja, Apple's first ProRes and ProRes RAW recording device. Estelle worked on the initial release of ProRes RAW and ensured our ecosystem was compatible with Apple's software suite. She also worked with Atomos to bring ProRes RAW 8K to market. (…) We have more incredible solutions to carry out in the coming years.” On the other hand, Estelle McGechie, comenta que está “muy emocionada” de poder ayudar a “desempeñar un papel que permita a los creadores de contenido dar rienda suelta a su creatividad”.

Nacida en Australia, McGechie ha disfrutado de una exitosa carrera en los Estados Unidos con funciones en empresas como The Walt Disney Company, Apple y Logitech. Durante su estancia en Apple, Estelle trabajó como directora senior supervisando el desarrollo de productos y el marketing de aplicaciones de vídeo profesional en todo el mundo, incluyendo la gestión de tecnologías como XML, FxPlug, Workflow Extensions, Apple ProRes y ProRes RAW. On the other hand, Atomos' latest signing has also worked with important television networks such as ABC, NBC y CNN; with film companies such as Sony y FOX Studios, as well as with many opinion leaders and YouTubers.
