ES Broadcast faces the sports summer with a significant investment in Sony equipment
With a hundred UHD cameras and 4K camcorders from Sony, incluyendo 24 camcorders ENG PXW-Z750, 42 PXW-FX9 Super-35, 25 Sony HDC-3500 y 10 Sony HDC-5500, ES Broadcast reinforces its equipment rental offer ahead of a summer with notable sporting events.
With a global shutter, the ability to output in 4K directly from the camera itself and up to 8x high speed at 1080 50p and 2x in UHD, the Sony HDC-5500 updates ES Broadcast's technological offering and continues the company's commitment to offering the best UHD technology across its entire range of equipment.
It has also acquired more than 160 4K optics with the aim of further increasing the already considerable stock that ES Broadcast has. Acquisition includes six more Digisuper 90 UHD lenses UJ90X9B of Canon and 155 objectives of the gama CJ y CN of professional 4K lenses from the Japanese manufacturer. Ten each of Fujinon's MK18-55mm T2.9 and MK50-135mm T2.9 lenses have also been added, as well as about 100 tripods from Vitec's Sachtler and Vinten professional lines.
Ben Murphy, CEO of the ES Broadcast group, emphasizes that “the postponement of major sporting events until this summer, as well as the early return of some live events, means that we expect almost unprecedented demand for rental equipment.”
“With this investment, we continue to support our customers to push the limits of their productions, ensuring that our fleet offers the technical capacity and scale they need, this summer and beyond,” concludes Murphy.
