The PBT EU integrator provides Videoreport with a playout and teleprompter system for Televisión Canaria

The PlayBox Neo version 19 playout and Addi Telecom's new teleprompter software, TVPrompt, will serve Canarian public television.

The systems integrator PBT EU recently delivered the playout solution PlayBox Neo version 19 to the producer Videoreport to provide service to Canarian Television. In addition, it has supplied the new teleprompter software of ADDI Telecom, TVPrompt.

This technology ensures that wherever the AirBox Neo 19 playlist is used by the production company of Televisión Canaria's Videoreport television channel, it can be constantly and automatically updated within the TVPrompt playlist in real time.

This solution has considerably increased Videoreport's capacity and has provided its facilities with a rapid infrastructure that now allows a single technical operator quickly control both systems, send videos and be able to immediately update the teleprompter list automatically.

The teleprompter systems were fitted with specific remote control hardware and custom 19″ sized camera prompter systems to fit Televisión Canaria's specific requirements.

Additionally, the two integrated AirBox Neo 19 systems function as a backup and second playout platform that includes runs that operate in parallel mode.

AirBox Neo 19 is designed to operate unattended 24/7 and can also be operated manually, including the ability to handle live streaming.

Parallel outputs allow operation of two or more SD/HD feed SDI or IP streams simultaneously. Changes can be made to the playlist even during the live broadcast. Clips in the playlist, except the one currently playing, can be trimmed, edited, or repositioned.

The playback order can be done seamlessly without stopping the current playback session. Live productions are facilitated by a live show clipboard that allows the insertion or execution of various events or live streams. AirBox Neo 19 supports playout of UHD, HD and SD signals from a single server.
