The daily consumption time of viewers who watch television every day was 6 hours and 11 minutes in March, 65 minutes above the same month last year.

The confinement of the Spanish population due to the Coronavirus pandemic has had a significant impact on television consumption, which rose to the 6 hours and 11 minutes per inhabitant per day (65 minutes above the same month last year).

By Targets, those who spend the most time per day watching television are, by sex, women (5 hours and 03 minutes on average per day) and by age groups, those over 64 years of age (with an average of 7 hours and 13 minutes per person per day).

As for the TV Coverage, 33.6 million Spaniards contact television on a daily basis (719,000 more than in the same month of the previous year), which represents 74% of the population. In addition, in the monthly cumulative the coverage achieved is 43.5 million, which represents 95.9% of the total population that has watched at least one minute of television.

Telecinco led the audience for the nineteenth consecutive month with a 14.3% share of the screen. It is followed by Antena 3 (11.15%), TVE's La1 (10.1%), the regional (8.8%), LaSexta (8.3%), the pay themes (8.2%), Cuatro (5.4%), La2 (2.7%), FDF (2.4%) and Trece Tv.

As highlighted in its latest report Barlovento Communication, based on data from Kantar Media, Telecinco has led in women, in those over 13 years of age and older, as well as in the commercial target. For its part, Clan de TVE is the leader among children aged 4 to 12 (14.8%).

Finally, it should be noted that the Informative of Antena 3 lead in the average of the two news editions from Monday to Sunday (2,694,000) for the third consecutive month.
