Telemadrid will broadcast the Feroz Awards gala live

Telemadrid and Onda Madrid will be the official media of the Feroz 2020 awards, the gala organized by Spain's film informants.

Los Feroz 2020 awards, which reward the best of Spanish cinema and fiction series according to the press, can be followed live through LaOtra, of Onda Madrid and of Telemadrid.es.

The delivery ceremony, which will be held next January 16 at the Ciudad de Alcobendas Auditorium Theater, will have a wide deployment by the chain, after the agreement reached between the president of the Association of Cinematographic Informants of Spain (AICE), María Guerra, and the general director of Radio Television Madrid, José Pablo López.

LaOtra will focus on live programming that will bring to all Madrid residents the spectacular nature of the red carpet and a very fun, scathing and intelligent gala considered as the Spanish “Golden Globes” and the prelude to the Goya Awards. An event that brings together the big names of Spanish cinema and, also, the protagonists of the most relevant Spanish fiction series of the year. For this reason, Onda Madrid will also carry out special programming from the auditorium itself, directed by Nieves Herrero and with the collaboration of Juan Carlos Pérez de la Fuente and Manuel Velasco. They will be in charge of narrating the ceremony and interviewing all the winners of the night.

Actress María Hervas, winner of this year's Max Prize for Iphigenia en Vallecas, will be in charge of hosting the gala, which will be broadcast live on La Otra at 10 p.m. For her part, Isabel Vázquez will be the presenter of the red carpet that all interested parties will be able to enjoy from 7 p.m. on the website www.telemadrid.es/premiosferoz. For the second consecutive year, the ceremony will be written and directed by Raúl Díaz and Álvaro Velasco, accompanied in the script by Mario Díaz.

Pedro Almodóvar's film pain and glory part as the great favorite. It dominates the competition in the film categories with 10 nominations, including best dramatic film, two nominations for Almodóvar himself (direction and script), best leading actor (Antonio Banderas) and four supporting actors (Penelope Cruz, Julieta Serrano, Asier Etxeandía and Leonardo Sbaraglia).

Advantages of traveling by train, Aritz Moreno's debut feature, has achieved seven nominations, including actors Pilar Castro (lead) and Quim Gutiérrez (supporting) among its candidates. Two films tie for six nominations: the hole (The Platform), de Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia, y The infinite trench, by Jon Garaño, Jose Mari Goenaga and Aitor Arregi.

Series

In the series categories, the winner of the Canneseries festival, perfect life, is the title with the most nominations (5). Its creator Leticia Dolera competes for the award for best actress, as well as her co-stars Celia Freijeiro, Aixa Villagrán and Enric Auquer. By number of candidates, it is followed by Paquita Salas (4), with mentions for its protagonist Brays Efe, and the actresses Belén Cuesta and Yolanda Ramos (both supporting cast).

Three titles tie 3 candidates: Hierro, with Candela Peña and Darío Grandinetti; The Money Heist, with Álvaro Morte and Alba Flores; and Vote Juan, with Javier Cámara and Adam Jezierski. Furthermore, Isabel Coixet's series Foodie Love achieves two nominations, the same as On death row, with Miguel Ángel Silvestre; and To the fish, with Jesús Carroza.
