Sony Professional Solutions Europe has helped the Belgian production company DPG Media to create a next-generation mobile production studio and control room based on SMPTE ST2110. Using the most advanced Sony solutions currently available, including several high-end Sony cameras, reference monitors, Bravia professional displays and a native IP multi-format switcher. DPG Media's new studio can be deployed anywhere, at any time, to create engaging content for its television channels, as well as its newspapers, magazines and online radio stations.

As part of a five-year deal, Sony is also providing DPG Media with a range of professional services. In addition to initial consulting to develop a proof of concept and define the best system solution for your needs, these include installation services to set up the studio and support the deployment of Sony solutions. Extensive operational training for staff, as well as ongoing remote and on-site support with annual maintenance and software updates, has been put in place to provide consistent support for operations. The new study has been designed to take advantage of the IP Live technology and, together with an offering of complementary services, allows DPG Media to scale and adapt its production capabilities to meet future industry requirements, such as the production of 4K or the new IP protocols.

New DPG Media studio includes 10 system cameras Sony HDC-35009 compact system cameras HDC-P50 POV, a multi-format mixer XVS-7000 IP Live, 22 lightweight LCD reference monitors of various sizes, as well as several Bravia professional displays.
