SlomoTv VideoReferee-ST

SlomoTv will be presented in NAB 2019 (booth SL3829) a new entry-level model of its solution for Video Assistant Referee, VideoReferee-ST. This compact system, even in this basic configuration, still meets all FIFA/IFAB requirements for VAR.

Building on the success of its predecessor, VideoReferee-ST represents a technological evolution that makes sports video refereeing a Less expensive for professional sports teams.

Since 2007, SlomoTv server solutions for video evaluation have been successfully used in various sports such as ice hockey, basketball, and canoe competitions. In every application, SlomoTv is renowned for its intuitive and simple ease of use and is already being used in international sports leagues and federations, including the Continental Hockey League, United World Wrestling and the International Handball Federation.

A critical factor in deterring VAR facilities in most football championships at any level and in any league is budget constraint. Therefore, SlomoTv has addressed this market need by designing a new affordable system.

With 12 SDI video inputs, complies with the FIFA/IFAB minimum requirements for VAR Support at least eight cameras, one of which is high-speed. The system includes a SuperMotion option that allows configuration with SSM cameras. High-speed cameras are used to work in difficult and controversial moments where the resolution of 60 frames per second is not enough and therefore it is very important to have at least one such camera in the VAR system.

As with VideoReferee-FC and all of SlomoTv's large VAR systems, VideoReferee-ST has a Adjustable input delay for the referee's monitor, multiviewer and special buttons for VAR and RO (red, green and blue). The system supports the Gesture control via the refereeing monitor's touchscreen and also provides SDI output for the replay review area (RRA) monitor on the field side of play and for broadcasters.

A hardware option to work with Vokkero intercoms and a virtual offside line option. (These options are not currently required.)

When the number of input channels needs to be increased, users can Expand system capabilities to 16 inputs by purchasing an additional license. In addition, the system can have the optional second workplace for the VAR Assistant (AVAR). The second workplace allows two repeat operators (ROs) to work simultaneously and independently with different questionable moments or at the same time with different camera angles. This can significantly speed up the referral process as one RO works with VAR and the other with AVAR.
